I'm kidding, guys. I also haven't had my coffee yet!
First off, I wanted to let you know I will be offline Aug. 13-18. Need some down time with the guys before summer ends.
Second, I want to apologize for me being scattered and this game being a shambles. I'm not getting much sleep, doing the usual Mom things and trying to get rid of a lifetime's worth of stuff (mine, some of the guys, leftovers from my parents and in-laws--you get the idea) so I can get things in order, finishing off a big project for work and needing to (eventually) pick up a monthly thing I do that tripled in size in the last month.
You all deserve better. In the end, I guess I do, too, come to think of it.
Now, before you read into this the dreaded phrase "closing the board," please don't. Yes, I have weighed that as an option from time to time simply because my time is limited. The muses are still talking to me, but most of them seem as exhausted as I am. Barring additional insanity and pulls on my time, I don't plan to close.
I don't really want to take a formal hiatus, especially with Dave trying to join us (RL stuff is being complicated for him as well).
I'll also admit I waited for people to join/rejoin and was hoping that could jump start story. I am not the greatest game master on the planet. I was always the color commentator to the play-by-play savvy of other board owners in the past. That has hurt the game and all of you, and I am sorry for that.
I guess what I'm trying to do is ask for a bit more patience. I really have no right to, and I know that. I just hope you all understand why I have been vapor of late.
